Follow these steps to make sure your items can be recycled!
#1 clear plastic bottles and
clear-colored containers
#2 cloudy milk jugs and
solid-colored containers
#5 yoghurt usually in
solid-colored containers
We only accept #1, #2, and #5 plastics.
Check the bottom, neck or label of the bottle, jug or jar for #. 1’s and 2’s look similar, please find the number prior to sorting.
There are magnifying glasses on top of each bin at the Recycling Center to help you see the #.
Helpful hint: use your phone as a magnifier or rub magic marker to highlight the number.
NOT ACCEPTED:
Any dirty or food contaminated plastic containers. No plastic bags, plastic lids or caps, marijuana containers, oil containers. If unsure about sorting, drop by when staff is available.
