Follow these steps to make sure your items can be recycled!

Newspaper:

Newsprint only. Loose, no bundles or bags.
No colored or shiny inserts.

Corrugated Cardboard:

Corrugated is made of three layers of paper:
an inside liner, an outside liner, and fluting with a ruffled shape that runs between the two. Please flatten cardboard and make sure it is dry. No strings. No waxed cardboard.
No wet or food contaminated cardboard.

White Paper:

Includes white and colored paper typically generated in an office or school, including envelopes with and without windows.
No glossy/shiny paper.

Shredded White Paper:

Shredded into strips, not cross-cut. Must be tied up in bags.
No glossy/shiny paper.

Books:

Hard and soft-back books; remove covers.
No shiny paper.

NOT ACCEPTED:

All low-grade paper, such as non-corrugated cardboard (e.g. cereal boxes), glossy paper, TP rolls, milk cartons, magazines, glossy inserts, waxed cardboard, cross-shredded paper, bubble mailers, food-contaminated paper (e.g. pizza boxes).
Food-contaminated items attract bears.
